ASF Autolinee, 51% owned by SPT Spa and 49% owned by Omnibus Partecipazioni, provides urban and extra urban transport services in Como and in the province. It’s a long time since ASF is considered a benchmark and almost everybody know about it.  Anyway, SPT Spa and Omnibus Partecipazioni has different sharing holders. Actually for the first one we have Como’s municipality and province, Lecco’s province and CPT while for the second one we must consider Arriva Italia and the FN Group.

The company runs the Public transport service since July 1st 2005 in:

• the province of Como, through STECAV (www.stecav.it) whose service is offered by ASF and FNMA
• Como and the urban area through COMO FUN&BUS (www.funandbus.it), whose service is offered by ASF for bus lines and by A.T.M. S.p.A. for the Como-Brunate funicular;
• the Province of Como and Lecco through LECCO TRASPORTI S.c.a r.l. ( www.leccotrasporti.it )

ASF also manages 2 international lines: Line 1 (Chiasso – Ponte Chiasso – Como – San Fermo) and line C12 (Menaggio – Porlezza – Lugano).
 
ASF Autolinee has a total organic of approximately 520 employees and 315 buses.  Moreover the company can count on a net of 14 warehouses and 4 of them have garages and offices for customers.
