About Us

ASF Autolinee is a company providing public passenger transport services in Como and the surrounding province. Albeit under different names and corporate ownership, ASF has been a mainstay of Como's local public transport services scene for many years.

51% of the company capital is held by S.P.T. Holding S.p.A. and 49% by Omnibus Partecipazioni. SPT Holding Spa is owned by the Municipality and Province of Como, the Province of Lecco and CPT. Shares in Omnibus Partecipazioni are held by Arriva Italia and Gruppo Ferrovie Nord.

Since 1 July 2005, the Company has been managing public passenger transport services:

• for the Province of Como, via the STECAV consortium (www.stecav.it), with services provided by ASF and FNMA
• across the City of Como and its urban area, via the COMO FUN&BUS consortium (www.funandbus.it), with bus services provided by ASF and the Como-Brunate funicular railway service operated by A.T.M. S.p.A.;
• in the Province and Municipal Districts of Lecco, via LECCO TRASPORTI S.c.a r.l. (www.leccotrasporti.it)
• as well as the services listed above, ASF operates two international routes: route 1 – San Fermo - Como - Chiasso and C12 – Menaggio - Porlezza - Lugano.

ASF Autolinee employs around 500 people in total and has 310 buses in its fleet. The Company avails of a network of 14 depots and warehouses, four of which include public offices and garages.

Its registered offices are located at Via Asiago 16/18 - 22100 Como. The company is included on the Como Register of Companies under Economic and Administrative Index no. 272121 and Tax Code and VAT no. 02660190139. It has company capital of € 7,460,785, fully paid-up.
