The e·TIC ticket, or “chip on paper,” is a paper carrier with a special electronic chip designed to hold and reload tickets for your city rides.

In an e·TIC holder you can purchase and reload one type of ticket:

  • Urban Network Simple Run, 10 the maximum nr. of trips rechargeable;
  • Urban Area Simple Run, 10 the maximum nr. of loaded trips;
  • Urban Network Carnet, 2 the maximum nr. of carnets for a total of 22 trips of which 2 are complimentary;
  • Urban Area Carnet, 2 the maximum nr. of carnets for a total of 22 trips including 2 complimentary trips;

Subscriptions are divided into weekly, monthly and annual.
WEEKLY: Weekly passes are valid from Monday to Sunday, but can be issued from the Saturday before the week of use. All suburban weekly passes can also be issued from authorized retail outlets, provided they are located along the route of the line. The Como urban network or area weekly season ticket can only be issued from the Autolinee Station ticket office;
MONTHLY: Monthly season tickets are valid from the first to the last day of the calendar month. Monthly passes can be issued and used as early as the last three days of the month preceding the month of validity and immediately. In addition, if you are in possession of the current month's subscription, you can purchase the next month's subscription starting on the 22nd. Monthly subscriptions can be purchased at authorized retail outlets and at the ticket office of the Matteotti Square Bus Station;
ANNUAL: Annual passes are valid for 12 months from the month of issue and, at the INFORMATION OFFICE in Matteotti Square in Como.

One-way tickets can be purchased in the car with a surcharge over the original price. The use of coins or small denomination bills is required.
