e-TIC is an electronic ticket based on “chip on paper” technology. It is a paper medium equipped with an electronic chip that enables the purchase, reloading and validation of tickets on Como's ASF buses.
The e-TIC electronic ticket can be purchased at the self-service ticket office (TVM) located in the bus station at Matteotti Square in Como or at authorized retail outlets.

To validate the e·TIC electronic ticket, hold it close to the green reader (VPE) or the issuing station next to the driver (PCE). If validation is successful, you will receive a "Have a good trip" message with a green light. Otherwise, a red message will appear indicating the title is invalid.
At each bus change, the e·TIC electronic ticket must be validated again. There are no additional costs during the validity period.

Our vehicles comply with the provisions of Annex VII of Directive 2001/85 EC, which dictates guidelines on dimensions and characteristics regarding the transportation of disabled persons. Almost all of our vehicles are equipped with a low floor, platform and reserved position for a wheelchair.
Due to weight and bulk issues, it is not allowed to board our buses using vehicles similar in type to electric scooters.

Yes, you can request reimbursement if the cause of the disruption is ASF-dependent. Reimbursement must be requested in the manner stipulated in the ASF policy LISTED HERE If the disruption is due to unrelated/not ASF-dependent causes (e.g. strike, bad weather...) , reimbursements are not recognized.
In established cases of inefficiency, the price of the purchased ticket will be reimbursed and, in the case of a season ticket, the price of a one-way ticket corresponding to the fare of the route to which the season ticket refers. In addition to the reimbursement of the valid ticket for the omitted or delayed ride, a lump-sum compensation in tickets equal to two times the value of the ride will be paid to the customer, upon a suitably substantiated request.

To obtain reimbursement and compensation, a written request must be made to ASF Autolinee srl within 48 hours from the date of the disruption, attaching a copy of the ticket and specifying your personal details and the circumstances of the disruption (day, line, stop, time). The membership card is valid for 5 years from the day it is purchased. Once the card expires, it is no longer valid, and a new one must be applied for when purchasing subscriptions.
No, in order to purchase any type of season ticket (weekly, monthly or yearly), you must first apply for an identification card showing the route you wish to travel by bus. Those caught traveling with a valid season ticket but without a physical identification card will incur penalties.
In order to purchase any type of season ticket (whether weekly, monthly or annual), it is always necessary to present the identification card to the counter operator, whether for purchase at the ticket office or at one of the authorized ASF retail outlets. The identification card is to be carried with you during the entire journey.

If the card is lost, together with a weekly or monthly subscription, it is first necessary to verify that the document has not been found. If not, it is necessary to repurchase both again. If the ID card with an annual subscription is lost, on the other hand, it is possible to request the reprinting of both by filling out a form and paying €5 for the printing of the card.
For new membership, log in via PC to ASF's online platform to register: enter your biographical data, upload your photo and choose your route. At this point you save and send your request to ASF. Once your information has been verified, you will be emailed confirmation of acceptance. You will then be able to select your preferred ticket and proceed to payment by credit card using the Visa, Mastercard or PostePay circuits, or through the SISAL circuit by going to the authorized ticket offices and communicating your PNR code.

If you already have your physical card, you can renew your subscriptions via APP by associating your card data: it is as if you were converting your physical card into a digital one. By doing so, you will no longer have to carry your physical card with you.

For the digital pass and subscription on smartphones, the credentials and account are tied to the phone for security reasons. If you lose your smartphone, you should contact ASF Autolinee (urp@asfautolinee.it) and request to link your account to another smartphone.
With online membership, you avoid having to go to an ASF circuit retailer, then having to pick up, fill out and sign the membership form to receive a provisional sheet while waiting for your card to be printed in the next two siccessive months. You don't have to go back to the retail store to pick up the card.
With online membership, you do everything in a few days: you have your card with your ticket on your smartphone, and with that you can travel on ASF buses by showing the smartphone screen with your ticket. By clicking OPEN CONTROL you can also view your passport photo.

The extraurban ticket is a ticket that allows you to travel on buses, normally blue in color, on routes that connect locations outside the Urban Area of the city of Como.
Tickets can be purchased at ticket offices at the Autolinee Station in Piazza Matteotti in Como or Via Roma in Menaggio; at authorized resellers listed here; and through the Arriva MyPay APP.
One-way tickets are also sold on board buses, but at a surcharge.
The ticket office is open Monday through Saturday from 7 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.
The URP follows the hours of 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday (closed Saturdays, Sundays and holidays).

Single-ride tickets purchased via APP, if from the urban network are valid for the scheduled minutes (time calculation is triggered after the ticket is activated on the smartphone). The electronic ticket from the suburban network is valid for the entire ride.
“Timed” tickets on the urban network should be validated with the stamping machine on the buses. On the suburban network, the ticket should be shown to the driver, who will proceed to remove a counterfoil.
Electronic tickets purchased via APP should be activated on your smartphone as soon as you board the bus.
ASF travel tickets are of various types:
SIMPLE RIDE: One-way tickets of the urban network, urban area and suburban network, each with its own fares;
SUBSCRIPTIONS: Weekly, monthly and annual season tickets. A corresponding identification card must always be combined with these;
CARNETS: 11-trip carnets for the urban network and urban area;
DAILY TICKETS: Daily tickets valid until midnight of the day they are activated.
Subscriptions are divided into weekly, monthly and annual.
WEEKLY:Weekly passes are valid from Monday to Sunday, but can be issued from the Saturday before the week of use. All suburban weekly passes can also be issued from authorized ticket offices, provided they are located along the route of the line. The Como urban network or area weekly season ticket can only be issued from the Autolinee Station ticket office;
MONTHLY: Monthly subscriptions are valid from the first to the last day of the calendar month. Monthly subscriptions can be issued and used as early as the last three days of the month preceding the month of validity and immediately. In addition, if you are in possession of the current month's subscription, you can purchase the next month's subscription starting on the 22nd. Monthly subscriptions can be purchased at authorized retail outlets and at the ticket office of the Matteotti Square Bus Station;

It is possible to purchase a monthly or annual season ticket that is valid on both the urban and suburban networks, upon purchasing the identification card indicating the suburban route you wish to travel, and then requesting integration with the urban network when purchasing the season ticket. On the other hand, this type of integration does not exist with regard to the weekly subscription. Yes, those with these travel passes can use our means of transportation. However, in the event that a person with a season ticket “I travel everywhere in the province” needs to travel by bus a route beyond the territorial boundaries of the province itself, it is necessary to purchase a ticket to supplement the season ticket.

The annual season ticket can be paid in one lump sum or in two installments, each of half the total amount (thus without any additional interest). The first half of the amount must be paid at the time of purchasing the ticket, and the other half no later than three months later. The weekly subscription is valid for 7 days from Monday to Sunday, regardless of the day of the week on which it is purchased. The monthly subscription is valid for the month in which it is purchased, so from the first to the last day of the current month. For example, if you purchase the subscription on January 5, it will still be valid until January 31. The annual subscription is valid for 12 months from the first day of the month in which you purchase it. So if for example you purchase the annual subscription on January 3, it will be valid until December 31.
WEEKLY The weekly subscription can be purchased as of the Saturday preceding the week in which you need to take advantage of it. MONTHLY The monthly subscription can be purchased as of the 22nd day of the month preceding the month in which one needs to take advantage of it, but only if the user in question already has the current month's subscription. The urban network includes all those areas of the city that are part of the municipality of Como, while the urban area includes all neighboring localities and those areas that are still served by urban means but constitute municipalities in their own right and are: Maslianico, Cernobbio, San Fermo della battaglia, and Casnate con Bernate.
When purchasing ticket blocks for the urban network or urban area there is convenience as they contain 11 tickets for the price of 10, so one ticket is free. In contrast, ticket blocks valid on the suburban network are sold at the full price.
